Play a good old game of Tetris Sprint whenever you feel the need to disconnect from the boring day that you just had. There is nothing like a game of Tetris to get your brain juices flowing and get your logical reasoning in check.
Tetris is a game that originates in Russia and its name comes from the Greek word for four, which is tetra. It refers to the fact that all the pieces that you play with are made up of four square blocks and they are all set in different combinations. You can have shapes like lines, the letter L or squares.
There are more complicated shapes that you also have to deal with and they are actually the ones that will give you a hard time in this game. Your aim is to create whole horizontal lines that disappear as they get created and turn into points for you.
The pieces come down the screen at a progressively increasing speed and you have to set them in such a way to help create those lines. You mustn’t let your screen fill up with blocks, because that means the game is closer to being over that you might think.
Once you let the pieces get to the top of the screen, it is going to be more and more difficult to fit all of the coming pieces together to form lines. You should take advantage of the shapes that are easier to place, such as the lines or blocks and try to place them strategically in such a way to fill bigger gaps in one move and make all the lines turn into points.
The further you go in the game, the faster the pieces are going to drop, which means you have to pay more attention to the way all the parts come together to score points.
