The famous traditional mahjong game is back in a brand new package: Alchemy Mahjong. Hoppy is a dwarf that suddenly decided he wants to become an alchemist and your task is to help him by finding all the secret ingredients to his success.
Hoppy has to collect gold and different artifacts in order to reach his goal of becoming an alchemist, and your job is to find the matching tiles in the game and eliminate them before the time runs out.
As you would expect, to play mahjong you only have to perform a single very simple task: you must find two matching tiles and click them in order to make them disappear. Most of the tiles are coupled in pairs and have the exact same drawing, but some sets, such as the flowers set and the seasons set, have different images painted on the blocks.
That means that for those specific sets you will have to figure out what the images are by yourself or you will have to go to the “how to play” section to give yourself a short reminder of what they look like. It is, however, very simple to identify them, because even the name suggests what drawings they have on them.
Whenever you are stuck, you can ask to reshuffle the playing blocks on the table. The shuffle bottle slowly fills up again, in time, which means that you can only use it when it’s full and that doesn’t happen very often. Try to make sure you have found all possible matching pairs before you perform the reshuffle.
You also have a bonus bottle that slowly fills up as you play. This gives you extra benefits at the end of each round, which means that your score goes up and also your bonuses within the game. The main reward for finishing each level is a certain quantity of gold.
This gold is something that you must protect, because there are nasty dragons that are trying to steal it. The secret to keeping your gold safe is to play the game as fast as possible, trying not to waste too much time between matching pairs. This ensures that you are always ahead of time and never at the hands of the dragons.
